This thesis deals with sustainable mobility, more specifically with the social construction of bicycle and scooter technology, both personal and sharing. The aim of the thesis is to investigate the motivations for possible trips and to investigate what factors might determine the choice of this modal alternative; therefore, to understand what the technological framework is and what technologies are available for sharing and/or private mobility. The topic was approached through qualitative research. more precisely, using the SCOT model, initially with participant observation to clarify the relevant social groups and subsequently with semi-structured interviews. The study shows that the majority of respondents make their mobility decisions on the basis of convenience. The environmental variable tended to take second place.

Abstract
The environmental variable tended to take second place.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
