The purpose of this thesis is to develop a general framework regarding the automated load transfer of goods in intralogistic. To accomplish this aim, elements like unit load, feeding policies, AGV's and load transfer solutions have been studied. After that, three visits to companies have been performed in order to better understand the topic and the involved elements. Case studies have been created and a cross case analysis of them has been done to highlights similarities and differences. Finally three general frameworks, one for each type of AGV are proposed, in order to highlight which elements can fit with the others and thus create an AGV-based load transfer system.

Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to develop a general framework regarding the automated load transfer of goods in intralogistic. To accomplish this aim, elements like unit load, feeding policies, AGV's and load transfer solutions have been studied. After that, three visits to companies have been performed in order to better understand the topic and the involved elements. Case studies have been created and a cross case analysis of them has been done to highlights similarities and differences. Finally three general frameworks, one for each type of AGV are proposed, in order to highlight which elements can fit with the others and thus create an AGV-based load transfer system.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
