Public debt and its sustainability in the short and long term have always been debated topics within public opinion, among insiders and outsiders. The Covid-19 pandemic and the delicate geopolitical situation caused by the Russian-Ukrainian conflict have brought attention back to the subject, which is often seen in the collective imagination as something negative, a boulder to be avoided at all costs or in any case to be limited as much as possible. Can debt be dispensed with? Is it an opportunity or an obstacle to economic growth?

Abstract
Public debt and its sustainability in the short and long term have always been debated topics within public opinion, among insiders and outsiders. The Covid-19 pandemic and the delicate geopolitical situation caused by the Russian-Ukrainian conflict have brought attention back to the subject, which is often seen in the collective imagination as something negative, a boulder to be avoided at all costs or in any case to be limited as much as possible. Can debt be dispensed with? Is it an opportunity or an obstacle to economic growth?File | Dimensione | Formato | |
