This paper, with the case study of the defamation trial of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, proposes an analysis of the communities that arose on Twitter for or against the two protagonists. But how did these communities communicate on Twitter? What conceptions do they respectively have on topics such as domestic abuse, misogyny and gender discrimination? By what semantic differences are their tweets characterised? The twitter API and the Python programming language will be used to answer these questions.
