Nudge e le possibili applicazioni alle politiche pubbliche in Italia

The subject of this thesis is nudge, a public policy tool that does not require the use of coercion and, moreover, the expenses that affect the government are almost zero. In the first chapter there will be a general overview of nudges, what they are when it can be most advantageous to use them. In the second chapter I will focus more on the international sphere, analyzing how nudges are applied in the world and the criticisms that have been leveled about it. In the third and final chapter I will deal with the use of nudges in Italy; I will see if it is possible to apply them in our country, the experiences that have taken place and finally I will analyze the potential of this policy tool.

L'oggetto di questa tesi sono i nudge, uno strumento delle politiche pubbliche che non richiedono l'utilizzo della coercizione e inoltre le spese che gravano sul governo sono quasi zero. Nel primo capitolo ci sarà un inquadramento generale dei nudge, che cosa sono quando può essere più vantaggioso utilizzarli. Nel secondo capitolo mi concentrerò maggiormente sull'ambito internazionale, analizzando come i nudge sono applicati nel mondo e le critiche che sono state mosse a riguardo. Nel terzo e ultimo capitolo tratterò l'utilizzo dei nudge in Italia; vedendo se è possibile applicarli nel nostro paese, le esperienze che ci sono state e infine analizzerò il potenziale di questo strumento di policy.
