IL SISTEMA DI POSIZIONAMENTO SATELLITARE GLOBALE GPS

The research purpose of the thesis is in the topographical field and concerns the use of GPS. The thesis discusses the functions, principles and historical notes of GPS. In addition to the GPS system with receiver and satellites, GPS measurement methods are also described. Finally, the GPS models and software used for cadastre use are described.

Lo scopo di ricerca della tesi è in ambito topografico e riguarda l'utilizzo del GPS. La tesi discute le funzioni, i principi e le note storiche del GPS. Oltre al sistema GPS con ricevitore e satelliti, vengono descritti anche i metodi di misurazione GPS. Infine, vengono descritti i modelli GPS e i software utilizzati per l'utilizzo catastale.
