In this work a nonlinear model predictive control (NMPC) based method that can achieve fast transient response and provide good efficiency in the power transfer has been developed for an Inductive Power Transfer (IPT) system for battery charging of electric vehicles . A comparative analysis between traditional control methods for IPT systems based on proportional integral (PI) controllers and NMPC has been conducted which proved the better perfomances of the NMPC controller.

Abstract
In this work a nonlinear model predictive control (NMPC) based method that can achieve fast transient response and provide good efficiency in the power transfer has been developed for an Inductive Power Transfer (IPT) system for battery charging of electric vehicles . A comparative analysis between traditional control methods for IPT systems based on proportional integral (PI) controllers and NMPC has been conducted which proved the better perfomances of the NMPC controller.File in questo prodotto:
