This thesis analyzes the concepts of supply chain supply chain agility, supply chain flexibility and synchronization in an uncertain environment. These theoretical concepts are then applied in the analysis of the Luxottica supply chain to identify the weak points over which the project implemented is trying to undertake some actions. After this analysis, there is an explanation of the project, its end goals, how it is implemented and the benefits it created. At last this elaborate proposes some future development of the strategy applied with the implementation of the project and links the flexibility increment achieved with the sand cone model.
