My thesis consists of two parts. In the first part, I have synthesized some peptides which act as antagonists for some receptors overexpressed in many cancer cells. These peptides have eventually been attached to vanadium- and molybdenum-based antitumoral polyoxometalates in order to create organic-inorganic hybrids able to selectively target cancer cells and not healthy cells. Finally, the conformational analysis of these compounds has been performed by means of 2D NMR spectroscopy and circular dichroism spectroscopy.

Abstract
My thesis consists of two parts. In the first part, I have synthesized some peptides which act as antagonists for some receptors overexpressed in many cancer cells. These peptides have eventually been attached to vanadium- and molybdenum-based antitumoral polyoxometalates in order to create organic-inorganic hybrids able to selectively target cancer cells and not healthy cells. Finally, the conformational analysis of these compounds has been performed by means of 2D NMR spectroscopy and circular dichroism spectroscopy.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
