The paper aims to analyze the issue of the protection of parenthood, through an analysis of the evolution of the latter that starts from the first legislative interventions on the subject and comes to the current situation. The protection of parenthood is always a very topical topic as it significantly affects female employment levels. It is of great importance for the guarantee of a future of equality between the conditions of women and men and an effective balance in the domestic and care tasks that concern both parents.
L'elaborato si propone di analizzare il tema della tutela della genitorialità, attraverso un'analisi dell'evoluzione di quest'ultima che parte dai primi interventi legislativi in merito e giunge alla situazione attuale. La tutela della genitorialità è un argomento sempre molto attuale in quanto condiziona in modo significativo i livelli di occupazione femminile. Si rivela di grande importanza per la garanzia di un futuro di parità tra le condizioni della donna e dell'uomo ed un effettivo equilibrio nei compiti domestici e di cura che concernono entrambi i genitori.
