«Il Conoscente» di Umberto Fiori. Metrica, stile, temi.

The present work intends to investigate, with scientifically solid instruments, the last volume of verses by Umberto Fiori: starting from the prosodic and metric aspects with a sampling of 169 verses, we have tried to bring out the formal work on the text that never fails in our author. The result is a metricity of traditional mold but that does not pass unscathed the twentieth century and the tradition it founded. With the results of the metric lunges and with the analysis of the syntax of the text we detected the rhythmic variations in the progression of the narrative, verifying the success of that project flourish to search for a "voice", a poetic "speech" that follows the pauses, the hesitations, the excitement of the content and all its nuances. In the last part we have entered into the theoretical and reflective depths on which the poetry of Fiori is based and which this story highlights in a very ambiguous way: especially with Wittgenstein and Lévinas we were able to enumerate the crucial nodes of the poetry of Fiori to problematize them according to some principles of thought that innervate the contemporaneity: the reorganization of subjectivity, So, parallel to the search for a community that feeds on that contemporary atomism that makes each one alien to the other. Fiori, also and especially with The Acquaintance, is confirmed as one of the greatest contemporary poets, for reflection and aesthetic success, and much of its greatness is still to be systematized scientifically.

Il presente lavoro intende indagare, con strumenti scientificamente solidi, l'ultimo volume di versi di Umberto Fiori: partendo dagli aspetti prosodici e metrici con una campionatura di 169 versi, si è cercato di far emergere il lavoro formale sul testo che non manca mai nel nostro autore. Ne esce una metricità di stampo tradizionale ma che non passa indenne il Novecento e la tradizione che ha fondato. Con i risultati degli affondi metrici e con le analisi sulla sintassi del testo abbiamo rilevato le variazioni ritmiche nell'avanzare della narrazione, verificando la riuscita di quel progetto fioriano di ricercare una "voce", un "discorso" poetico che segua le pause, le esitazioni, le eccitazioni del contenuto e tutte le sue sfumature. Nell'ultima parte siamo entrati nelle profondità teoriche e riflessive su cui si basa la poesia di Fiori e che questo racconto mette in luce in maniera non poco ambigua: soprattutto con Wittgenstein e Lévinas abbiamo potuto enucleare i nodi cruciali della poesia di Fiori per problematizzarli secondo alcuni principi di pensiero che innervano la contemporaneità: il ridimensionamento della soggettività, dunque, parallelo alla ricerca di una comunità che si nutra di quell'atomismo contemporaneo che rende ognuno estraneo all'altro. Fiori, anche e sopratutto con Il Conoscente, si conferma uno dei massimi poeti contemporanei, per riflessione e riuscita estetica, e gran parte della sua grandezza è ancora tutta da sistematizzare scientificamente.
