This thesis aims to examine the populist phenomenon through an ideological lens, retracing its history from its historical manifestations in Russia and in the United States up to contemporary new populism, analyzing in terms of exclusion/inclusion two cases of European political parties: Fidesz in Hungary and Podemos in Spain.
Questa tesi si propone di esaminare il fenomeno del populismo in chiave ideologica, ripercorrendo la sua storia a partire dalle manifestazioni storiche in Russia e negli Stati Uniti fino ai neopopulismi contemporanei, analizzando in termini di esclusione/inclusione due casi di partiti politici europei: Fidesz in Ungheria e Podemos in Spagna.
