This paper aims to argue around the phenomenon of gender-based violence starting from the need to structure training courses related to education to sexuality and feelings addressed to adolescents, currently not present in the national school curriculum, despite the fact that this need has often been expressed in public debate; training courses with the aim of generating reflection in them, critical thinking and awareness of the problems generated by the patriarchal heritage that dominates our society, the balance of power based on masculine manhood as a construct that is strengthened and consolidated by social conditioning, the crystallization of gender stereotypes, the absence of equalization of rights and opportunities and a need to become artisans of contaminations of new knowledge and relational dynamics based on an authentic encounter with others, thus promoting equality, of peace, freedom, dignity, justice, solidarity and democracy.
Il presente elaborato si propone di argomentare intorno al fenomeno della violenza di genere a partire dal bisogno di strutturare percorsi formativi relativi all’educazione alla sessualità e ai sentimenti rivolti ad adolescenti, attualmente non presenti all’interno del curriculum scolastico nazionale, nonostante questa esigenza sia stata spesso espressa nel dibattito pubblico; percorsi formativi aventi l'obiettivo di generare in loro una riflessione, un pensiero critico e una coscientizzazione rispetto alle problematiche generate a partire dal retaggio patriarcale che domina la nostra società, i rapporti di forza basati sulla virilità maschile come costrutto che si rafforza e si consolida a partire dai condizionamenti sociali, la cristallizzazione degli stereotipi di genere, l’assenza di parificazioni di diritti e opportunità e un bisogno di divenire artefici di contaminazioni di nuovi saperi e dinamiche relazionali basate su un incontro autentico con l’altro, promotori quindi di uguaglianza, di pace, di libertà, di dignità, giustizia, solidarietà e democrazia.
