ModMax is a non-linear theory of electromagnetism. The aim of the thesis is to predict the angle of cosmic birefringence that CMB photons would show if ModMax theory were the right theory of electromagnetism.
Dopo un'introduzione della teoria non-lineare ModMax, si applica la teoria ai fotoni della CMB ottenendo una stima dell'angolo di birifrangenza cosmica dovuto al ModMax.
