In this thesis a model of a double source heatpump is presented. It is a system with an heat pump, where R744 is used as refrigerant, coupled to two different types of evaporators: a finned coil, which uses the air as a source, and a photovoltaic-thermal collector (PVT). In this case I focused on the PVT studying and implementing the equations that govern the processes within it: heat exchange between panel and fluid, electrical power produced. The functioning of this model is then analysed and calibrated with the data measured on the prototype in Padova achieving good results.

Abstract
In this thesis a model of a double source heatpump is presented. It is a system with an heat pump, where R744 is used as refrigerant, coupled to two different types of evaporators: a finned coil, which uses the air as a source, and a photovoltaic-thermal collector (PVT). In this case I focused on the PVT studying and implementing the equations that govern the processes within it: heat exchange between panel and fluid, electrical power produced. The functioning of this model is then analysed and calibrated with the data measured on the prototype in Padova achieving good results.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
