The Infrastructure as Code is a process that has been growing widely lately. Pulumi, a new generation IaC tool, is presented and compared to other old generation tools. Pulumi's main advantage is the support of many widely known programming languages. Hence, a comparison between some of the pulumi's supported languages will be presented. The main target of the thesis is to depict the advantages that could be achieved by extending Pulumi with the Scala language.
