La ragione prova a guarire sé stessa. Storia italiana e internazionale dei movimenti che hanno cambiato la salute mentale dal 1952 al 1978

The thesis deals with the history, concerning international organizations and international politics, of the movements that characterize the change started and still in progress since following years to the end of the Second World War on psychiatry, mental health and its caregiving. Particular attention is paid to its social and international social aspect. The thesis begins with a summary and mostly conceptual account of the topic regarding the situation before the Second World War. The core of the thesis is the historical moment after the Second World War and the analysis of the role of the main international organizations on the subject to finally arrive to the law improvement in the end of seventies. Finally, the situation after the 1970s is broadly examined to try to describe the current situation. There will be some elements from mass culture and art in all its shapes.

La tesi tratta la storia, inerentemente le organizzazioni internazionali e la politica internazionale, dei movimenti che caratterizzano il cambiamento attuato e ancora in atto dal primo dopoguerra nell'ambito psichiatria, la sua salute mentale e al sua cura. Un'attenzione è rivolta in particolar modo al suo aspetto sociale e sociale internazionale. La tesi ha inizio con un racconto sommario e per lo più concettuale sul tema per quanto riguarda al situazione precedente la seconda guerra mondiale. Il nucleo della tesi è il momento storico del secondo dopoguerra e l'analisi del ruolo delle principali organizzazioni internazionali sull'argomento per arrivare infine al cambiamento della legislazione avvenuto alla fine degli anni settanta. Infine viene presa in esame la situazione successiva agli anni settanta a grandi linee per cercare di descrivere la situazione attuale. Verranno anche presi in considerazioni anche alcuni elementi inerenti la cultura di massa e l'arte in tutte le sue forme.
