The thesis focuses on robotics and the Made in Italy. In the first part, it talks in general about robotics, which is a rapidly growing field that is revolutionizing the manufacturing industry worldwide. In Italy, the adoption of robotics has been relatively slow, but it is gaining ground thanks to the growing awareness of the importance of technology to improve the efficiency and competitiveness of companies. The "Made in Italy" is a quality brand recognized internationally, and the use of robotics can help Italian companies improve their productivity, the quality of their products, and their competitive position in global markets. However, the challenge for Italian companies is to balance the adoption of advanced technology with the importance of traditional craftsmanship and highly skilled labor that have made the "Made in Italy" famous. Later on, it discusses which are the major robotics-producing and consuming countries, focusing then on what the Italian sphere is.
