Chinese citizens, representing 21% of the world's population, have increased the demand for greater consumption and a subsequent intensification of resources and energy use. Furthermore, due to the Chinese economic boom, thanks to globalization, China has become the world's factory, and the increasing industrialization and urbanization has put China in front of several environmental problems which remain urgent to be resolved, unlike the western world, China’s national conditions are different and has a different political and economic system and many issues can’t be replicated in a western pattern, So far, the Chinese government has taken several actions to improve environmental problems and made some attempts at the transformation of a linear economy to a circular economy, but still China has a long way to go on this path. China's implementation of the circular economy and sustainable development not only has a very important impact on the country, but also provides a way of thinking and direction for the global ecological environment and other developing countries. In this thesis, I will introduce China's current circular economy and sustainable development, and analyze the situation through phenomena and dataFile | Dimensione | Formato | |
