The main purpose of this dissertation is to analyze the use of inclusive language. More precisely, I chose to focus on the phenomenon of microaggressions. Microaggressions are a modern form of discrimination which is underestimated as a non-so-harmful experience. However, from the first chapter already it will be possible to understand how harmful these attacks really are. In this chapter, I will, indeed, give a definition of the term microaggression and I will explain the effects it has on victims. In the second chapter, I will give some examples of racial, gender, and LGBTQ+ microaggressions and I will also talk about the microaggression process model. In the third chapter, I will give some guidelines and some help with identifying the best way to respond to microaggressions and the best way to avoid making them.

Abstract
In the third chapter, I will give some guidelines and some help with identifying the best way to respond to microaggressions and the best way to avoid making them.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
