Sulle orme degli scrittori. Spunti per la creazione di un turismo letterario a partire dai capolavori di Dante Alighieri, Elias Lönnrot e Luís de Camões

The study aims to analyze the phenomenon of literary tourism as induced by, or associated with, works of literature, authors and places within the literature. The bibliography examined shows that it is a strong upward trend and valuable tool for planning and developing the competitiveness of destinations in the tourist market as well as supporting approaches that can contribute to the achievement of the objectives of Sustainable Development (SDG). The theoretical assumptions will be the starting point for the reflections on the masterpieces of Dante Alighieri, Elias Lönnrot and Luís de Camões: the distinguished authors of the Italian, Finnish and Portuguese literature. The study will emphasize the role they have played in the formation of languages and the identity of thought of their respective nations in order to be able to identify and analyze places from a point of view of a tourism development in a cultural key.

Lo studio si pone come obiettivo l'analisi del fenomeno del turismo letterario in quanto indotto da, o associato con, opere di letteratura, autori e luoghi presenti all'interno della letteratura. La bibliografia esaminata dimostra come sia una tendenza in forte ascesa e strumento prezioso per la pianificazione e lo sviluppo della competitività delle destinazioni nel mercato turistico oltre a sostenere approcci che possano contribuire al raggiungimento degli Obiettivi di Sviluppo Sostenibile (SDG). I presupposti teorici costituiranno strumento di partenza per le riflessioni sui capolavori di alcuni autori caposaldo della letteratura italiana, finlandese e portoghese, rispettivamente Dante Alighieri, Elias Lönnrot e Luís de Camões accomunati dal ruolo che hanno avuto nella formazione delle lingue e dell'identità di pensiero delle rispettive nazioni al fine di poter individuare e analizzare i luoghi da un punto di vista di sviluppo turistico in chiave culturale.
