Telecommunication networks are constantly evolving to fulfill the increasing society’s request for connectivity and new services. This study analyzes the new security challenges that need to be addressed in the design and implementation of the new generations of wireless networks. Starting form the very beginning of telecommunications history, the study will explain how security issues of the past affected today’s regulations, and what challenges are nowadays still open. The thesis will be focused on the challenges linked with the integration of computing and sensing services within wireless communication networks. These paradigm shifts came across in the last decade to empower the network with additional services and provide support for the shift toward a fully connected society. Now that wireless network became pervasive in our everyday life, we need to acknowledge the above-mentioned security issues to properly address them from a legislative point of view. In summary, the study analyzes how the current legislative situation is and what needs to be changed in order to find a solution to support the new needs that are emerging in our superconnected world.

Abstract
In summary, the study analyzes how the current legislative situation is and what needs to be changed in order to find a solution to support the new needs that are emerging in our superconnected world.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
