Fashion today is becoming increasingly important within society. It allows the individual to create his or her own identity and creates a system of shared practices, attitudes and values that are manifested through the use of clothes. It is also a great medium for communicating messages, capable of sensitising the individual's perception and thinking, even shaping it. The fashion industry has developed over time through the process of modernisation, leading it to become one of the most polluting industries in the world. Sustainable fashion was born as a response to environmental problems and inhuman conditions for workers. The aim of this thesis was to investigate how younger consumers behave and what attitudes they show towards this new way of production.

Abstract
Fashion today is becoming increasingly important within society. It allows the individual to create his or her own identity and creates a system of shared practices, attitudes and values that are manifested through the use of clothes. It is also a great medium for communicating messages, capable of sensitising the individual's perception and thinking, even shaping it. The fashion industry has developed over time through the process of modernisation, leading it to become one of the most polluting industries in the world. Sustainable fashion was born as a response to environmental problems and inhuman conditions for workers. The aim of this thesis was to investigate how younger consumers behave and what attitudes they show towards this new way of production.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
