This master's thesis is the result of a six-month journey within the quality department of Maserati Modena, an activity made possible thanks to the collaboration between Maserati and the University of Padua. The objective of this study is to analyze, through Maserati's diagnostic approach, the problems that plague the door assembly and to propose corrective actions. Specifically, three anomalies caused by three different root causes were identified. To resolve these issues, both design and process changes were proposed, depending on the origin of the anomaly. Some of the improvements are the redesign of the giro-door gasket to improve the closing feel or the recalibration of the equipment dedicated to assembling the doors on car. The effectiveness of these modifications, analyzed after each intervention, significantly improved the overall quality of the product.

Abstract
The effectiveness of these modifications, analyzed after each intervention, significantly improved the overall quality of the product.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
