Linguistic variation is a dynamic aspect, not uniform because it varies according to the different dialectal and sociolect characteristics of speech and current which, especially nowadays in a globalised world, highlights various aspects of the language which change according to different situations, place, nationality, social status and time. This thesis considers one type of Spanish: colloquial Spanish, which we can define as a level of speech closely linked to a series of communicative circumstances and contexts. It is not the domain of a specific social class, but belongs to all speakers in the world. The key words that define this typology of Spanish are: everydayness, orality, informality and interactivity. The aim of this study is to determine the phonological and morphological variations between different generations, specifically: the generations: Alpha, Baby Boomers, X, Y and Z, in the colloquial Spanish of the inhabitants of Paraguay. In particular, the features that characterise this type of Spanish are analysed in order to present the conversational aspects that characterise this type of Spanish from a practical point of view. To achieve this, several conversations of users of different generations were recorded on a common theme: "favourite music". In a country where two languages coexist, the various influences that have given rise to a totally new Spanish, Guarani, were analysed. Research has shown that certain phonological and morphological phenomena characteristic of Guarañol, or more broadly of southern Spanish, are more present in some generations than in others. In some cases, the research shows a clear difference, in others a variation, sometimes slight but never indifferent.

Abstract
In some cases, the research shows a clear difference, in others a variation, sometimes slight but never indifferent.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
