This thesis investigates the concepts of cognitive reserve and motor reserve among two distinct age groups, specifically individuals aged 20 to 30 years and those aged 70 years or older, within the Peruvian population. The study employs two questionnaires, the Cognitive Reserve Index Questionnaire (CRIq) and the Motor Reserve Index Questionnaire (MRIq), to measure cognitive and motor reserve, respectively. Furthermore, the questionnaires are translated into Spanish to ensure linguistic accessibility for the participants. The primary objective of this research is to compare the levels of cognitive and motor reserve between the two age groups by utilizing the CRIq and MRIq. The research design follows a cross-sectional approach, encompassing a sample of ten participants from each age group. Data collection involves administering the translated questionnaires to each participant, ensuring accuracy and consistency in the measurements. A statistical analysis, including descriptive statistics, will be conducted to analyze the obtained data and draw meaningful conclusions.
