The intent of this paper was to talk about Mindfull Base Stress Redecution: a protocol linked to Mindfullness meditation which, on an experimental level, has shown therapeutic efficacy for some psychological and physical disorders. This form of meditation has been found to be useful for counteracting the effects of stress, anxious and depressive symptoms and psychosomatic manifestations. In this paper we will see the main theories related to stress, psychological well-being and will deepen some studies that have students as a population, particularly in the university field. The aim of this thesis is to show a positive correlation between meditative practices, in particular the MBRS, and the reduction of stress in students, with the hope that in the future similar protocols can be adopted by universities and educational institutes to improve well-being and satisfaction of their learners.
L’intento di questo elaborato è stato quello di parlare della Mindfull Base Stress Redecution: un protocollo legato alla meditazione Mindfullness che, a livello sperimentale, ha dimostrato efficacia terapeutica per alcuni disturbi sia psicologici sia fisici. Questa forma di meditazione è risultata utile per contrastare gli effetti dello stress, i sintomi ansiosi e depressivi e le manifestazioni psicosomatiche. In questo scritto si vedranno le principali teorie legate allo stress, al benessere psicologico e si approfondiranno alcuni studi che hanno come popolazione gli studenti, in particolare in ambito universitario. L'obiettivo di questa tesi è mostrare una correlazione positiva tra le pratiche meditative, in particolare l'MBRS, e la riduzione dello stress negli studenti, con la speranza che in futuro protocolli del genere possano essere adottati dalle Università e istituti scolastici per migliorare il benessere e la soddisfazione dei propri discenti.
