The following thesis aims to provide a small theoretical introduction to the concept of framing, with particular relevance to moral framing, also explored through the concept of tailoring the persuasive message and the theory of moral foundations. A moral framing experiment concerning attitudes towards climate change is then reported by means of three distinct tasks dealing with implicit, explicit attitudes and environmentally sustainable behavior. The objectives set concerned a desirable increase in positive perception in favor of personal activation towards climate change, an issue of great importance for all of us. Furthermore, this was assessed through moral framing, a potential persuasion tool, even regardless of a relatively stable trait such as personal political orientation. The results obtained, considering a sample of participants with an average age of 20 years, did not demonstrate particular sensitivity towards climate change, especially for those who have manifested a purely right-wing political orientation.

Abstract
The results obtained, considering a sample of participants with an average age of 20 years, did not demonstrate particular sensitivity towards climate change, especially for those who have manifested a purely right-wing political orientation.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
