Riconoscersi in volti estranei: uno studio sperimentale

The experiment involves two phases : one IAT and SELF. In each of the two phases the participants are called to respond to a series of visual stimuli that appear on a screen and to respond to the latter by pressing two buttons. The two keys reflect a mechanism of categorization starting at the time of presentation of the visual stimulus, which in the case of this experiment corresponds to a series of faces with which it is possible to identify . What we wanted to investigate concerns precisely when identification takes place: whether with a certain face more similar to your own or not .

L'esperimento svolto prevede due fasi : uno IAT e SELF. In ciascuna delle due fasi i partecipanti sono chiamati a rispondere ad una serie di stimoli visivi che compaiono su uno schermo e a rispondere a questi ultimi premendo due tasti. I due tasti riflettono un meccanismo di categorizzazione che viene messo i atto al momento della presentazione dello stimolo visivo, che nel caso di questo esperimento corrisponde ad una serie di volti con cui è possibile avvenga identificazione .
