Evoluzione di stelle massicce: Metallicità, Venti stellari e Rotazione

On the basis of recent literature, the thesis examines the key aspects of the hydrostatic evolution of massive stars, focusing on the effects of metallicity, stellar winds, and rotation. It is also discussed how the three processes, as well as their interactions, influence the ultimate fate of massive stars.

Sulla base della letteratura recente, la tesi analizza gli aspetti salienti dell'evoluzione idrostatica delle stelle massicce, approfondendo in particolare gli effetti prodotti da metallicità, venti stellari e rotazione. Viene inoltre discusso come i tre processi e la loro interazione influenzino il destino finale delle stelle massicce.
