Magnetoterapia: Meccanismi ed efficacia terapeutica del campo elettromagnetico pulsato.

The thesis offers an overview of magnetotherapy, referring above all to pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy. The heart of the thesis is the description of a project in which I was able to assist and collaborate during the internship at the company I.A.C.E.R SRL. The project, which I followed alongside the manager, focuses on the development of a new device for magnetotherapy, starting from the biocompatibility study of the materials, then moving on to the state of the art and the feasibility study, and finally on the description of the final result.

La tesi offre una panoramica sulla magnetoterapia, facendo riferimento soprattutto alla terapia tramite campo elettromagnetico pulsato (PEMF). Il cuore della tesi è la descrizione di un progetto a cui ho potuto assistere e collaborare durante il tirocinio presso l’azienda I.A.C.E.R SRL. Il progetto, che ho seguito a fianco del responsabile, si incentra sullo sviluppo di un nuovo dispositivo per la magnetoterapia, a partire dallo studio di biocompatibilità dei materiali, per poi passare allo stato dell’arte e allo studio di fattibilità, ed infine sulla descrizione del risultato finale.
