Cardiovascular diseases are among the leading causes of mortality in underdeveloped countries, which is why preventive diagnosis of abnormalities in electrical activity is essential. Checking for abnormalities is mainly done through heart rate analysis, measured by calculating the R-R interval of the electrocardiogram (ECG). The latter represents the diagnostic examination that allows the tracing of the heart's electrical activity to be observed. In the presence of pathological situations due to electrical signal conduction, such as arrhythmias, it is necessary to introduce artificial cardiac devices: defibrillator, pacemaker. They are capable of generating electrical impulses to regulate cardiac activity. The pacemaker and its evolution in recent decades have led to a significant improvement in the quality of life of individuals subject to heart disease. Next, we will go on to analyze a simplified model of the control system of a pacemaker.

Abstract
Next, we will go on to analyze a simplified model of the control system of a pacemaker.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
