Ultimate frisbee: aspetti generali e avviamento alla pratica in età evolutiva

This paper will initially deal with describing the birth and evolution of the practice of "Frisbee", the various uses that it has found over time in various ludic-social and sporting disciplines, and in particular of the best known team sport in the world practiced with its help, the Ultimate. They will be treated general characteristics, the peculiarities that make it unique and the values ​​that the spirit of the game wants transmit. We will briefly describe what, according to the studies and analyzes carried out to date by various authors, concerns the performance model of this discipline, highlighting some of the most significant differences relevant with other team sports that are in part similar to it and the internal and external load parameters observed from the analyzes (albeit small in number) of the lending model of this sport. Finally we will go to talk about the launch of the Ultimate in the developmental period in relation to the didactic context, dealing with the objectives and planning of teaching in primary and secondary education, and finally bringing some examples of didactic progression for introduction to the discipline.

Questo elaborato si occuperà inizialmente di descrivere la nascita e l’evoluzione della pratica del “Frisbee”, i vari impieghi che nel tempo esso ha trovato in varie discipline ludico-sociali e sportive, e in particolare dello sport di squadra più conosciuto al mondo praticato con il suo ausilio, l’Ultimate. Verranno trattate le caratteristiche generali, le peculiarità che lo rendono unico e i valori che lo spirito del gioco vuole trasmettere. Si andrà a descrivere brevemente ciò che, secondo gli studi e le analisi ad oggi svolte da vari autori, concerne il modello di prestazione di questa disciplina, evidenziando alcune delle differenze più rilevanti con altri sport di squadra in parte simili ad esso e i parametri di carico interno ed esterno osservati dalle analisi (seppur esigue in numero) del modello prestativo di questo sport. Per concludere si andrà a parlare dell’avviamento dell’Ultimate nel periodo dell’età evolutiva in relazione al contesto didattico, trattando gli obiettivi e la programmazione dell’insegnamento nella scuola primaria e secondaria, e portando infine alcuni esempi di progressione didattica per l’avviamento alla disciplina.
