Impatto del conflitto in Russia-Ucraina sul sistema bancario

The paper begins with an analysis of the origins and causes that led to the current war, highlighting the relationship between the two states and the influence of NATO. It then moves on to an examination of the Russian banking system and the impact of economic sanctions imposed by international bodies on this system. Furthermore, it analyzes the exposure of European banks to the conflict in Russia and the resulting repercussions, with a particular focus on the case of the Italian bank UniCredit.

La tesi si focalizza sul conflitto Russia-Ucraina e sulle sue conseguenze sul sistema bancario. L'elaborato inizia con un’analisi delle origini e alle cause che hanno portato all’attuale guerra, mettendo in luce i rapporti tra i due Stati e l’influenza della NATO. Si passa poi ad un’esamina del sistema bancario russo e dell'effetto delle sanzioni economiche imposte dagli organismi internazionali su questo sistema. In seguito, viene analizzata l'esposizione delle banche europee al conflitto in Russia e le conseguenti ripercussioni, in particolare si esamina il caso della banca italiana UniCredit.
