This dissertation aims to propose a translation and analysis of a Chapter of Vera Brittain's autobiography, Testament of Experience. I briefly provided an introduction to the central concepts of translation theory and strategies. I presented the book and its author. I set the context and mentioned the major events that characterize the book's historical background. In conclusion, I proposed my translation and commented on my choices and solutions.
