The mountain huts are discerned from the other accommodation facilities by many cahrateristics. This paper presents the analysis through a general description of the features and the tourist experience sought. Taking into consideration the case of Rifugio Vincenza, located in Val Gardena, there are the testimonies of the experiences of tourists and shelter's owners, collected through direct interviews. It shows insights of mountain tourism, with reference to historical development, the impact it has on the territory and the experiential dimension.
I rifugi montani hanno caratteristiche che li distinguono da altre strutture ricettive. Tale elaborato ne presenta l'analisi attraverso una descrizione generale sugli aspetti caratterizzanti e sull'esperienza turistica ricercata. Prendendo in esame il caso del Rifugio Vincenza, situato in Val Gardena, ne sono riportate le testimonianze delle esperienze dei turisti e dei rifugisti raccolte attraverso delle interviste dirette. Vengono presentati approfondimenti sul turismo montano, con riferimento allo sviluppo storico, l'impatto che ha sul territorio e la dimensione esperienziale.
