A synthetic analysis of the historical development of the court of the Inquisition of the city of Granada within the social, political and economic context during the 16th-18th centuries. This paper investigates the composition and functioning of the hacienda inquisitorial of the city of Granada as well as the most common crimes ascribed to the analysed area. Finally, it discusses the role that the autos de fe had in relation to the society of the time as a propagandistic instrument through which to spread and reinforce Christian morality.
Breve analisi degli sviluppi storici del tribunale dell'Inquisizione della città di Granada all'interno del contesto sociale, politico ed economico durante il corso dei secoli XVI-XVIII. Nel presente lavoro si indaga la composizione e il funzionamento dell'hacienda inquisitorial della città granadina così come anche i reati più comuni ascrivibili all'area analizzata. Infine si affronta il ruolo che ebbero gli autos de fe rispetto alla società del tempo quale mezzo propagandistico attraverso cui diffondere e rafforzare la morale cristiana.
