Il Mart: arte nell'arte

This thesis aims to analyze, from different points of view, the Mart museum in Rovereto and provide a framework of its role and functions within society. The first chapter will briefly describe the management aspects of a museum and then move on to one of the focal points of the thesis: why is the Mart different from other museums? Next, the history of the Mart and everything related to the economics of the museum will be explored in depth, and then we will move on to a small discussion of the effect that the museum has on the city of Rovereto but also on all the surrounding areas. To finish, the formative and educational projects offered by the Mart, promotion policies, both print and digital, will be analyzed and described, and finally, there will be a small interview with a museum employee that will focus on the future of the Mart.

Questa tesi si propone di analizzare, partendo da diversi punti di vista, il museo Mart di Rovereto e fornire una cornice del suo ruolo e delle sue funzioni all’interno della società. Nel primo capitolo verranno descritti brevemente gli aspetti gestionali di un museo per poi passare a uno dei punti focali della tesi: perché il Mart è diverso dagli altri musei? Successivamente verrà approfondita la storia del Mart e tutto ciò che riguarda l’economia del museo, per poi passare ad un piccolo approfondimento sull’effetto che il museo ha sulla città di Rovereto ma anche su tutte le zone limitrofe. Per finire verranno analizzati e descritti i progetti formativi ed educativi proposti dal Mart, le politiche di promozione, sia a mezzo stampa che digitale, e, per finire, ci sarà un piccola intervista ad un dipendente del museo che verterà sul futuro del Mart.
