Da Machiavelli a Gramsci: un percorso nel realismo politico

The thesis will focus on the political thought of Machiavelli. The theme of political realism will be presented and the Florentine writer’s conceptions of human nature and political power will be analyzed. Finally, reference will be made to a case study to show how Machiavelli’s political thought has influenced that of other authors and, in particular, that of Gramsci.

La tesi verterà sul pensiero politico di Machiavelli. Verrà quindi presentato il tema del realismo politico e verranno analizzati, più nello specifico, le concezioni dello scrittore fiorentino sulla natura umana e sul potere politico. Verrà infine fatto riferimento ad un case study per mostrare come il pensiero politico di Machiavelli abbia influenzato quello di altri autori e, in particolare, quello di Gramsci.
