In this work, an analysis of Hegelian dialectics will be proposed based on Theodor W. Adorno's perspective. The main reference text to be considered is Adorno's lectures at the University of Frankfurt in 1958. In this text, Adorno highlights the main characteristics that distinguish the process of dialectical thinking from other methods of thought: immanent criticism, the labor of the concept in contrast to the mere mechanical application of dialectics, the movement of thought through the internal contradictions of the world, and its direction towards the whole as truth and concreteness. Finally, following this analysis of the concept of truth as the entirety of the dialectical process, the philosophical tendency to reduce truth to an original principle, referred to by Adorno as the "philosophy of origin," will be taken up and critically addressed.

Abstract
In this work, an analysis of Hegelian dialectics will be proposed based on Theodor W. Adorno's perspective. The main reference text to be considered is Adorno's lectures at the University of Frankfurt in 1958. In this text, Adorno highlights the main characteristics that distinguish the process of dialectical thinking from other methods of thought: immanent criticism, the labor of the concept in contrast to the mere mechanical application of dialectics, the movement of thought through the internal contradictions of the world, and its direction towards the whole as truth and concreteness. Finally, following this analysis of the concept of truth as the entirety of the dialectical process, the philosophical tendency to reduce truth to an original principle, referred to by Adorno as the "philosophy of origin," will be taken up and critically addressed.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
