Gli stereotipi di genere. Confronto tra genitori di realtà diverse, Italia e Danimarca

The thesis deals with gender stereotypes in children. The first chapter focuses on the explication of the concept of gender stereotype, referring to its change over the course of history to the present day. This chapter will also address a theme of great importance: the construction of identity and the significant impact of the stereotype on it. The second chapter, it's focused on children and how the gender stereotype impacts their development, in toys and books, at the end it's zoomed on what it means to "do gender education", promoting respect, inclusion and awareness. In the last chapter the results of the questionnaire will be analysed in two different structures: one in Denmark and the other in Italy. A comparison will be made between the data collected with a final conclusion.

La tesi affronta nel corso dei tre capitoli la tematica degli stereotipi di genere nei bambini. Il primo capitolo si focalizza sull'esplicazione del concetto di stereotipo di genere, facendo riferimento al suo cambiamento nel corso della storia fino ad arrivare ai nostri giorni. Questo capitolo affronterà anche un tema di grande importanza: la costruzione dell'identità e l'impatto significativo dello stereotipo su di essa. Nel secondo capitolo, invece, pone l'attenzione sui bambini e su come lo stereotipo di genere impatta il loro sviluppo, nei giocattoli e nei libri, infine mette a fuoco cosa vuol dire "fare educazione di genere", promuovendo il rispetto, l'inclusione e la consapevolezza. Nell'ultimo capitolo verranno analizzati i risultati del questionario somministrato in due diverse strutture: una in Danimarca e l'altra in Italia. Sarà effettuato un confronto tra i dati raccolti e una conlusione finale.
