The successful release of cheetahs into the wild involves numerous challenges and the use of effective methods. This thesis investigates feedback from various field projects, shedding light on the challenges encountered and the methods used for the successful release. It emphasizes the significance of habitat suitability, prey availability, social integration, and post-release monitoring. Conservation efforts can improve the success of cheetah reintroduction and contribute to their long-term survival by addressing these factors. Hopefully, the results of this study could be implemented when developing long-term survival plans for both the African and Asiatic Cheetahs.

Abstract
The successful release of cheetahs into the wild involves numerous challenges and the use of effective methods. This thesis investigates feedback from various field projects, shedding light on the challenges encountered and the methods used for the successful release. It emphasizes the significance of habitat suitability, prey availability, social integration, and post-release monitoring. Conservation efforts can improve the success of cheetah reintroduction and contribute to their long-term survival by addressing these factors. Hopefully, the results of this study could be implemented when developing long-term survival plans for both the African and Asiatic Cheetahs.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
