A major challenge to encounter the chronic infection caused by pseudomonas aeruginosa. This project carried out Two assays to perform antimicrobial susceptibility test against Quorum sensing and Biofilm formation. Quorum sensing inhibition(QSI) assay performed against chromobacterium and results are reported based on agar disc diffusion method. Biofilm formation inhibition assay performed against pseudomonas aeruginosa and results are reported based on bacterial viability staining in combination with automated confocal laser scanning microscopy. Known antibiotics, organic compounds, plant associated bacterial extracts and fungal strain extract are used to test antimicrobial susceptibility test against chromobacterium and pseudomonas aeruginosa. To conclude, Analysis of performed assay results provides Quinolones, macrolides are active and cinnamaldehyde compound active. Moreover, fungal strain extract result provided profound new Quorum sensing and biofilm formation inhibitor.

Abstract
Moreover, fungal strain extract result provided profound new Quorum sensing and biofilm formation inhibitor.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
