Densità e distribuzione delle tre specie di zanzare invasive del genere Aedes presenti sul territorio della Provincia di Belluno

This paper, with a view to prevention, aims to study the density and distribution of the three invasive mosquito species of the genus Aedes widespread in the Province of Belluno: Aedes albopictus, Aedes japonicus and Aedes koreicus. The study of the density of invasive mosquitoes was conducted by taking into consideration the data from monitoring with ovitraps carried out by the SISP of the Prevention Department of AULSS 1 Dolomiti from 2013 to 2023. In this period of time, only the municipalities of the Province sampled at least seven times over the ten-year period were considered statistically relevant and thus the subject of the study, namely: Alleghe, Auronzo, Belluno, Cencenighe, Domegge, Feltre and Val di Zoldo, with the addition, only in the year 2023, of some municipalities bordering the mountain municipalities in order to observe the density at higher altitudes, namely: Lorenzago and Santo Stefano di Cadore. For the study of distribution, i.e. the confirmation of the presence/absence of the three invasive mosquito species under study in the territory, data collected through larval sampling in various municipalities in the Province of Belluno from the year 2011 to the year 2023 were used. Based on the processing of the data from these samplings, maps were drawn up showing the distribution of mosquitoes in the three-year periods 2011-2013, 2014-2016, 2017-2019, 2020-2022 and in the year 2023.

Questo elaborato, in un’ottica finalizzata alla prevenzione, ha come obiettivo lo studio della densità e della distribuzione delle 3 specie di zanzare invasive del genere Aedes diffuse nella Provincia di Belluno: Aedes albopictus, Aedes japonicus e Aedes koreicus. Lo studio della densità delle zanzare invasive è stato condotto prendendo in considerazione i dati emersi dai monitoraggi con ovitrappole effettuati dal SISP del Dipartimento di Prevenzione dell’ AULSS 1 Dolomiti dall’ anno 2013 all’ anno 2023. In questo lasso di tempo si sono ritenuti statisticamente rilevanti e quindi, oggetto di studio, solamente i Comuni della Provincia campionati almeno sette volte nell’ arco del decennio, ovvero: Alleghe, Auronzo, Belluno, Cencenighe, Domegge, Feltre e Val di Zoldo, con l’ aggiunta, solo nell’anno 2023, di alcuni comuni limitrofi ai comuni di montagna per poter osservarne la densità a quote più alte ovvero: Lorenzago e Santo Stefano di Cadore. Per lo studio della distribuzione, ovvero la conferma della presenza/assenza delle tre specie di zanzare invasive oggetto di studio nel territorio, sono stati utilizzati i dati raccolti tramite i campionamenti larvali in vari comuni della Provincia di Belluno dall’anno 2011 all’anno 2023. In base all’elaborazione dei dati di questi campionamenti sono state elaborate delle mappe che evidenziano la distribuzione delle zanzare nei trienni 2011-2013, 2014-2016, 2017-2019, 2020-2022 e nell’anno 2023.
