J. Ortega y Gasset e l'origine "sportiva" dello Stato

This thesis relates to the theme of the foundation of the State, addressed in particular starting from the analysis of the essay by José Ortega y Gasset, entitled "The sportive origin of the State". Of particular importance is the fact that the Madrid author in this work identifies with precision not only the mechanism by which the State is founded, but also the promoters of this process. The thesis paper will therefore attempt to outline the peculiar aspects of the Ortega theory and its implications, in order to make it emerge originality, also in the light of the critical confrontation with the thought of other major exponents of the history of political thought.

La presente tesi inerisce al tema della fondazione dello Stato, affrontato in particolare a partire dall’analisi del saggio di José Ortega y Gasset, intitolato “L’origine sportiva dello Stato”. Di particolare rilievo è il fatto che l’Autore madrileno in tale opera identifica con precisione non soltanto il meccanismo tramite il quale lo Stato viene fondato, ma anche i soggetti promotori di tale processo. L’elaborato di tesi tenterà dunque di delineare gli aspetti peculiari della teoria orteghiana e le sue implicazioni, al fine di farne emergerà l’originalità, anche alla luce del confronto critico con il pensiero di altri maggiori esponenti della storia del pensiero politico.
