The aim of this thesis is to illustrate the importance of the figure of the Disability manager, as a promoter of the inclusion and inclusion of disabled people. The document first identifies the concept of disability, identifying the types that can be recognized in this definition, continues by providing a regulatory framework on disability in the workplace, going to highlight the rights of these subjects. Another key concept, which is addressed, is the targeted placement, with an overview of the regulatory evolution, starting from the standard provided for in 1917, inherent in the recruitment of invalids and war mutilated, up to date with Law No. 68 of 2000. Then the figure of the disability manager is analyzed in detail, dealing with the professional skills required, the regulatory context in which it is located and the role that this person plays within a business context. In order to better facilitate the understanding of the role of the disability manager in corporate life, the case study of the multinational Ikea is examined. Analysing initiatives related to access and inclusion of disabled people.
La presente tesi ha come obbiettivo quello di illustrare l'importanza della figura del Disability manager, quale promotore dell'inserimento e dell'inclusione lavorativa dei soggetti aventi disabilità. Il documento individua innanzitutto il concetto di disabilità, identificando quali sono le tipologie che possono essere riconosciute in tale definizione, si prosegue fornendo un quadro normativo sulla disabilità nel mondo del lavoro, andando ad evidenziare i diritti di tali soggetti. Altro concetto chiave, che viene affrontato, è il collocamento mirato, con una panoramica sull'evoluzione normativa, partendo dalla norma prevista nel 1917, inerente all'assunzione di invalidi e mutilati di guerra, fino ad arrivare ad oggi con la legge n. 68 del 2000. Successivamente viene analizzata nel dettaglio la figura del disability manager, trattando le competenze professionali richieste, il contesto normativo in cui si colloca e il ruolo che tale soggetto svolge all'interno di un contesto aziendale. Al fine di facilitare al meglio la comprensione del ruolo che assume il disability manager nella vita aziendale, viene esaminato il caso di studio della multinazionale Ikea. Analizzando le iniziative relative all'accesso e all'inclusione dei soggetti disabili.
