This dissertation titled "Cultural Intelligence, Job Performance, and Employee Well-being: An Empirical Investigation" explores the increasing significance of Cultural Intelligence in the workplace. The main research hypothesis of this study was to investigate whether there is a positive correlation between overall Cultural Intelligence (CQS scores) and overall Job Demands-Resources (JD-R scores) in individuals working in an intercultural environment. The main question was whether there is a significant relationship between the employees' Cultural Intelligence levels and their work performance and job satisfaction. The research analyzes the connection between Cultural Intelligence and work-related factors like Job Performance and Job Satisfaction, using professional literature in the field of psychology. The research method used for the study was a diagnostic survey, and the tools used were The Cultural Intelligence Scale (CQS) (Ang et al. 2007) and The Job Demands–Resources Questionnaire (Bakker, A.B. 2014). A total of 101 individuals, who confirmed that they work in an intercultural environment, were included in the study. The research results indicate that there was no correlation between the level of cultural intelligence and job performance and job satisfaction among the respondents. The work also discusses differences among groups in terms of cultural intelligence as well as job performance. Finally, further steps for the development of Cultural Intelligence were proposed.
