The low frequency magnetic field generated by twisted cables is calculated through different methods: firstly by mean of Biot-Savart Law, secondly using the series expansion of the distance between the observation point and the source point, which include modified Bessel functions, finaly applying simplified methods proposed by Pettersson and Landini. Therefore all methods are compared in terms of computational speed and efficiency.
