L'opera e i luoghi di Aligi Sassu in Sardegna: una proposta di itinerario turistico.

Aligi Sassu (Milan, 1912- Pollença, 2000) was one of the protagonists of twentieth century Italian art. The artist, in the course of his vast work, has been able to evolve continuously, thanks also to the numerous international experiences and trips made during his life, however his art was born in Sardinia, specifically in Thiesi, the birthplace of his father. The first chapter is therefore a reconstruction of the main events that have characterized the life of the artist. The second chapter consists in the analysis of Sassu’s style and works. The following chapter outlines a geographical and cultural profile of Sardinia with the final objective of creating a cultural tourist itinerary that allows visitors to immerse themselves in the places and atmospheres in which the artist lived and reach the places where he has operated.

Aligi Sassu (Milano, 1912- Pollença, 2000) è stato uno dei protagonisti dell’arte italiana del Novecento. L’artista nel corso del suo vasto operato è stato in grado di evolversi continuamente, grazie anche alle numerose esperienze e viaggi internazionali compiuti nell’arco della sua vita, tuttavia la sua arte nasce in Sardegna, specificatamente a Thiesi paese natale del padre. Il primo capitolo si configura quindi come una ricostruzione degli eventi principali che hanno caratterizzato la vita dell’artista. Il secondo capitolo consiste nell’analisi dello stile e delle opere di Sassu. Il capitolo successivo traccia un profilo geografico e culturale della Sardegna con l’obiettivo finale di creare un itinerario turistico di tipo culturale che permetta al visitatore di immergersi nei luoghi e nelle atmosfere in cui l’artista ha vissuto e raggiungere i luoghi in cui egli ha operato.
