The main objective of the research is to analyze the effectiveness of these lessons and their impact on the emotional well-being and learning of the children during their hospital stay. Within the context of hospital education, it explores regulatory developments and examines the individuals involved in the organization and delivery of the education. Furthermore, it defines the programs, objectives, and methodological guidelines of hospital education, with a focus on curriculum adaptation for different age groups and the significance of music education as a tool for emotional and educational support. The role of music in hospital music education is explored in depth, including its history, the integration of musical instruments, and the use of musical genres to engage children in a playful and creative manner. The importance of a piano-based approach is emphasized, and the emotional and cognitive effects that music can evoke in hospitalized children are analyzed. A central element of the research is the concert lessons offered to patients in the pediatric nephrology department. The importance of these lessons within the context of hospital education is contextualized, defining specific objectives and their design. The selection of suitable musical repertoire for hospitalized children, the usage of specific teaching tools and materials, and the methods of conducting concert lessons are described. The active involvement of children in the process of musical learning and enjoyment during concert lessons is highlighted, with space for artistic expression through creative activities. The emotional, cognitive, and social impact of concert lessons is analyzed, and the methods and assessment tools used to analyze this impact are presented. Good practices and recommendations for the organization of successful concert lessons are shared. Finally, concluding considerations are provided on the importance of music education in the hospital, emphasizing its role as emotional and educational support for hospitalized children. Possible future developments and research areas in the field of concert lessons are suggested to enhance educational offerings and promote the well-being of children during their hospital stay."
"La presente tesi si concentra sull'importanza dell'istruzione musicale in ambito ospedaliero, con particolare attenzione alle lezioni-concerto offerte ai bambini ospedalizzati nel reparto di nefrologia pediatrica. L'obiettivo principale della ricerca è analizzare l'efficacia di tali lezioni e il loro impatto sul benessere emotivo e sull'apprendimento dei bambini durante il periodo di ricovero ospedaliero. Nel contesto dell'istruzione in ospedale, si esplora l'evoluzione normativa e si analizzano le figure coinvolte nell'organizzazione e nell'erogazione dell'istruzione. Inoltre, si definiscono i programmi, gli obiettivi e le linee guida metodologiche dell'istruzione in ospedale, con un focus specifico sull'adattamento curricolare per fasce d'età e sull'importanza dell'istruzione musicale come strumento di supporto emotivo e didattico. Si approfondisce il ruolo della musica nell'istruzione musicale in ospedale, esplorando la sua storia, l'integrazione degli strumenti musicali e l'utilizzo di generi musicali per coinvolgere i bambini in modo ludico e creativo.
